A dishevelled Harvey Weinstein has been slapped in an upscale restaurant by a man who berated him for his alleged sexual abuse of scores of women.
A video of the incident, published by TMZ.com, shows the man lunge at Weinstein and slap him twice on the face, saying "you're such a piece of shit for what you did to these women".
Weinstein, who was wearing a stained grey t-shirt and dark beanie at luxury Arizona restaurant Elements, stumbled before walking away.
Weinstein is reportedly in rehab at a nearby facility.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred after Weinstein declined the man's earlier request for a photograph.
The man, named only as Steve, claimed Weinstein was belligerent, but a restaurant manager said Weinstein was "sweet" and politely declined the request.
In audio of that incident, later published by TMZ, Weinstein can be heard having a friendly conversation with Steve.
Steve told TMZ he had had "quite a bit to drink" when he approached Weinstein for the second time and instructed his friend to record the incident.
Weinstein declined to call the police and left the restaurant.
'Eight-figure' divorce settlement
Meanwhile, Weinstein and his estranged wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, have reportedly agreed an eight-figure divorce settlement, according to US media.
Chapman announced she was leaving Weinstein in October.
The couple have two young children, who will remain in Chapman's custody.
Weinstein has been accused of rape and sexual harassment by as many as 100 women, including a large number of Hollywood actresses and models.
