'Disgusting' flytippers dump mountain of rubbish at beauty spot

A mountain of rubbish was dumped at a Merseyside beauty spot by fly-tippers.

Lampshades, wooden pallets and garden debris were spotted discarded at Eastham Country Park in Wirral on Saturday, September 26.

Binbags overflowing with rubbish and what appears to an open suitcase were among the items left behind in the popular park, to the horror of locals.

Dozens of people took to social media to condemn those responsible.

One woman said it was "disgusting", while another questioned "how can they sleep at night?"

One resident said: "More lazy selfish people. If they find the person responsible, dump it back on their property. See how they like it."

Another added: "Omg!!! Some people are a disgrace, aren’t they."
