Disgusting creep tries to bundle young child into car on their way to school in Meath

A garda hunt is underway for a disgusting man with who tried to abduct a child as they made their way to school.

The young kid was approached by the creep on Swan Lane in Navan, Meath on Monday morning just before 9am.

The man was driving what is believed to be either a black BMW or Mercedes Saloon and is said to have an "Eastern European" accent.

He asked the child to get into his car but the kid managed to escape running away from the abducter.

Investigating Gardai are asking motorists or pedestrians who were in the Swan Lane area on Monday morning and saw any unusual activity or have dash cam footage to contact Navan Gardai on 046-9036100.

Just last month, another monster tried to lure a little Dublin girl into his car as she walked to primary school.

The 11-year-old girl was on her way to school in Lucan when she was approached by a man in his 40s at around 8:40am.

He drove up slowly beside her and demanded that she get into his black coloured car.

The man told the primary school child to "jump in out of the cold" and that he would drop her to the school.

Thankfully the little girl managed to escape the attempted kidnap and ran in the direction of her aunties' house.

A spokesman for Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí in Lucan responded to reports of a suspicious approach to a young female, yesterday 7 February near Griffeen Road. No offences disclosed.
