East Kilbride residents have slammed extremist graffiti which has been daubed on the wall of a church.
A swastika sign has been emblazoned on the side of the South Parish - much to the disgust of locals.
Alongside the vile symbol is 'Declan KKK was here'.
Furious townsfolk have vented their anger after a picture of the vandalism was posted on Facebook.
One posted: "Vandalism is bad enough, but the foul content takes it to a new low."
While another wrote: "Whoever he is he is an idiot. What has any of his worthless graffiti on a church wall got anything to do with Scotland."
And one woman went on: "Nothing shocks me anymore people really have no morals or values anymore and class anything offensive as banter to justify it . Absolutely disgusting!"
While another resident added: "This is another example of our youth being lead by bad example, often given by their parents or guardians. They are also cowards shown by using a wall that is difficult to see from local housing."
And another said: "Probably hasn't a clue as to what this signifies, silly boy."
