Disgust as Fife shoppers dump disposable gloves outside busy supermarket

As part of measures to protect ourselves against coronavirus, many have taken to wearing disposable gloves whilst out shopping.

However in a post shared in a Fife community group on Facebook it would appear that some people might be missing the point of wearing the gloves in the first place once they've left the shop.

In a series of images many pairs of disposable gloves can be seen strewn outside Asda in Kirkcaldy, despite there being a bin right outside the supermarket.

The post, which has raked in over 200 responses, reads:

"Things are not bad enough that we have to turn into animals.

"Folk walking out of shops and dumping gloves on the floor - we can do better."

One Facebook user responded: "A supermarket front line worker has to clean it up thank you for putting their life at even more risk."

Another said: "There's a bin right outside the door! What is wrong with folk - be responsible clean your mess!"
