Disgruntled This Morning viewers complained S Club 7 's Jo O’Meara has 'ruined their childhoods' with her rendition of one of their old hits.
The singer, 42, appeared on Friday’s episode of the ITV show to perform the pop group’s 2000 hit Never Had A Dream Come True, but she left some fans bitterly disappointed.
Jo performed in the middle of the show’s festive forest to try and bring some Christmas cheer to viewers at home, as she sang S Club 7’s track that was released more than 20 years ago.
But not everyone was thrilled with her vocals, and some took to Twitter to share their frustration over her performance, claiming that she’d ruined their childhood.
“Hello @metpolice. I’d like to report a crime; Jo murdering a classic on live TV #ThisMorning,” one irked viewer tweeted.

“As a huge S Club fan back in the day, it pains me to say it, but bl**dy hell Jo is murdering this #ThisMorning,” another fumed.
“My f**king childhood. #ThisMorning,” one fired, as one fan posted: “Jo O'Meara from S Club 7. She performed but sounded like she was just shouting.”
“Oh dear, no autotune in the forest…” another added, while one simply concluded: “Well that was terrible.”

“More like Jo Oh Deara! Lovely lady but sounded terrible,” a fan quipped, as another bemoaned Jo performing solo.
“Isn’t the same without the rest of S Club,” they complained.
The track was first released in November 2000, and was chosen to be the official song for Children In Need, raising more than £200,000 for the children’s charity.
However, some of Jo’s fans were quick to defend her from the cruel trolls, with one writing: “Wow @joomeara sounded absolutely great on #ThisMorning well done Hun.”

“You smashed it hun you owned that stage on this morning programme the stage is where you belong am proud of you,” another added.
“This was actually really good ! It took me back to being in the car ages 7 in the passenger seat , miming the song and pretending I’m in the music video and the camera is outside the window filming me in the car,” one fan added.
Jo was the lead singer of S Club 7, alongside Paul Cattermole, Tina Barrett, Rachel Stevens, Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, and Jon Lee.
They starred in a hit TV show, as well as selling more than 10 million albums worldwide, before they split in 2003 due to creative differences.
