Disgraced ex-banker David Drumm pictured for first time since release from prison

Disgraced ex-banker David Drumm has been pictured for the first time since his release from prison slinking around a housing estate.

The multi-billion euro fraudster was spotted with his wife Lorraine and another man at newbuild Castleland Park in Balbriggan on Wednesday morning.

The shamed former banking chief was released from Loughan House in Blacklion, Co Cavan, last week after serving three years and four months behind bars.

The ex-CEO of Anglo Irish Bank was locked up for his role in a €7.2billion fraud.

He spent two years and eight months in an Irish jail and a further six months in American prisons as he fought extradition.

After Drumm was shipped back to Ireland by authorities, he was found guilty of charges of conspiracy to defraud the public and of false accounting linked to Anglo transactions in 2007 and 2008.
