Disenchanted star Patrick Dempsey stops in Dublin's oldest chipper between filming

Patrick Dempsey is sure taking in the cultural sites Ireland has to offer, as the Disenchanted star stopped by a famous chipper in between filming today.

Dempsey is currently in Ireland filming the upcoming sequel to the 2007 film Enchanted, and he has been documenting his immersion in all things Ireland while here.

In what can only be described as a fever dream come to life, Dempsey shared an image of Leo Burdock's chipper, Dublin's oldest fish and chip fast food restaurant, with the caption: "Bleeding deadly," on his Instagram account earlier today.

The star has been here for the past two weeks filming in Dublin and Wicklow, which has recently undergone its own fairytale transformation, as the production crew have been building Disney Castle sets for the new movie.

Disenchanted sees Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams reprise their roles as the cynical lawyer Robert Phillip and Princess Giselle, respectively.

Also returning for the sequel are Idina Menzel and James Marsden, reprising their roles of Nancy and Prince Edward.

The new film will see Maya Rudolph (SNL) , Jayma Mays (Glee) and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) , join the A-list cast, with Rudolph reported to play the villain.

The movie will be written and directed by Alan Shankman, who has worked on other Hollywood projects such as A Walk to Remember , Bringing Down the House , The Pacifier and the 2007 remake of Hairspray .
