A commercial property agent has secured a brace of new lettings at a Derby shopping precinct.
Discount health and beauty chain Savers and e-cigratte business Vype have become the latest retailers to take space at the Park Farm Shopping Centre, at Allestree, following deals secured by FHP Property Consultants.
Park Farm is home to more than 50 shops, restaurants and cafes. It features a mix of national retailers, including Wilkos, Boots, Co-op Foods and Farm Foods, as well as independent retailers, providing services and goods such as hair and beauty, financial services, shoe repairs and key cutting, clothing, gifts and cards and homeware.
Savers has signed a 10-year lease on its unit, which measures almost 3,800 sq ft. Meanwhile, Vype has secured a three-year lease on its unit.
Simon Eatough, asset manager at LCP, the national commercial property and investment company that owns Park Farm, said: “It’s good news for Park Farm shoppers that we have attracted two new tenants to the centre, both of whom have created new jobs.
“We’re working hard to diversify the offering at the shopping centre, so that the local community has all it needs right on its doorstep.”
Darran Severn, from FHP Property Consultants, said: “Our aim is to bring together the best national and local independent retailers to Park Farm Shopping Centre, and we are delighted to announce these lettings to Savers and Vype.
“There is definitely a lot more to come later this year as we continue to vary and improve the catering and retailer offer in what is a busy, convenience-led community shopping centre.
“We also have a third unit at Park Farm under offer to an independent retailer and hope to announce details in the next few weeks.”
