For the next 12 weeks, Guardian music will be launching a string of live performances from new and exciting acts such as Haim and John Newman. To kick the series off, this week we have footage of You and Me, taken from Disclosure's Alexandra Palace show in March.
A standout track from their debut album Settle, the song plays host to the soulful garage vocals of Eliza Doolittle. As Alexis Petridis described, You and Me harks back to classic hits such as SFA's Flowers, the Artful Dodger's Movin' Too Fast and Kristine Blond's Loveshy: "What a track such as You and Me recalls isn't deep house, but that brief period at the turn of the millennium when the UK garage scene gushed forth a string of sparkling pop singles," he wrote.
