Nottingham Forest fans' verdict on what went wrong against Millwall

Nottingham Forest fans have revealed what they feel went wrong in Friday night's defeat to Millwall.

Sabri Lamouchi's men were beaten 3-0 thanks to Matt Smith's first-half hat-trick, the striker scoring all three of his goals by the 33-minute mark.

The defeat makes it two without a win for the Reds, who could now slip 11 points behind Leeds United in second should Marcelo Bielsa's men beat Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

After the defeat, we put out a call on Facebook to find out what fans believed went wrong on Friday night.

Here's how they responded...

David Barnes - "The product of a disastrous transfer window. The squad needed help, but spectacularly haven’t had it."

Darren Coupe - "Terrible performance Rowett did a proper job on us. We never looked like winning, couldn’t handle Smith."

Phillip Tomlinson - "We look a tired team. Too many crocks and no quality replacements to bring in. Season very likely to fizzle out. Let’s hope other play off contenders lose today. Need about 15 points to get to play offs and that is a big ask."

Mick Watson - "All round poor defending only one goal result of having a big man."

Karen Pryce - "Millwall out played us and looked like they wanted it more than we did. Made us look like an average team. I’m really puzzled as well that Uncle Albert as gone out on loan. We need him back here."

Adele McGuinness - "Can't handle big strikers. Huddersfield have 2 of them. We need to practise defending this week."

Barry Wright - "Couldn't handle their big men up front got out muscled everywhere on the pitch. We are not as good as we think we are."
