Disastrous scenes on This Morning leave Holly and Phil gobsmacked

The spin to win game on This Morning has caused some hilarious scenes on the show since being introduced at the start of the year.

And today was no exception, thanks to caller Chelsea from Bromley.

Players of the game have to answer the call with a password instead of 'Hello' and then answer a topical question before Holly and Phil spin the wheel to win a holiday for the caller.

Holly and Phil put the phone down on the first caller as they answered by saying 'Hello'.

But second caller Chelsea answered the call with the password, meaning the game was on.

Holly and Phil chatted to Chelsea, but when they asked her a question about the Australian bushfires the phone went dead.

Thinking they'd just lost the line, they called her back but it went straight to voicemail - leaving the hosts gobsmacked.

And Phil wasn't letting her get away with it, leaving her an irate voicemail saying the entire nation was waiting for her to answer the phone.

They eventually moved on to a third caller, who did everything right and managed to win £250, but viewers couldn't get over Chelsea's actions.

Fan Chloeee on Twitter said: "Am I like, the only person who absolutely loves the Spin to win game? Seen mainly bad comments about it but I think it's brilliant. Also that Chelsea must be GUTTED but imagine getting a voicemail from an angry Phillip Schofield."

Penny Miller said: "Chelsea has just hung up on Phil and Holly cause she didn't know the answer to the p**S easy question HOW EMBARRASSING!!!! "

Aaron Outram said: "Spin To Win is quite clearly cursed! Think it’s gone wrong every day."

And Victoria said: "Complete shambles (crying laughing emoji)."

*This Morning continues at 10am on ITV tomorrow
