A tiny disabled kitten has been rescued by an animal sanctuary whose staff spotted him being homed on a social media site.
Theodore is just 12 weeks old and is currently living with a trusted foster carer.
Because of deformities to the little guy's back legs, he needs replacement limbs.
And the good people at a Bangor animal sanctuary are trying to help.
A spokesperson for Assissi Animal Sanctuary, said: “Theodore, now in our care and has quite serious medical issues and deformities to both his back legs.
“He has no foot on his back left leg which means he has just a stump to use, and his back right foot has just two toes which just about allows him to steady himself when he tries to move about.
“We currently have Theodore in one of our fantastic foster homes and we are keeping a careful eye to see how well his movement and balance progresses as he grows.
“What we do know is that little Theo will need a fair amount of veterinary treatment and specialist care and will need some form of prosthetic to cover his leg and be a substitute for his missing foot to prevent him being in pain and so that he can have the best quality of life that he deserves.
“He has captured all our hearts, particularly the hearts of his foster carers and he is enjoying the company of the other cats in the home – although he’s not too sure yet about the other housemate, a German Shepherd.
