Luka and Dirk. Two Dallas Mavericks superstars, both of whom only need one name to know who they are.
And they both hit one-legged shots.
At least that’s what we saw on Tuesday night as the Mavs took down the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 2 of their NBA playoffs series. Luka Doncic’s statline is something else: 39 points on 16-of-29 shooting, 5-of-13 from three, seven rebounds, seven dimes, a block and a steal.
Whew. Let’s focus on one of his shots that you MUST see — with the clock ticking down toward the end of the third quarter, Doncic casually dribbled with three defenders hovering nearby and unleashed a Dirk Nowitzki-like fadeaway three on one leg.
Oh, and Dirk was there AND HE LOVED IT!
