Why should Apollo be the only one with a golden chariot? For those who desire a regal ride, Dior Homme has collaborated with the renowned Parisian BMX maker Bogarde to produce a bike that complements the French fashion house’s Gold capsule collection.
Like last year’s chrome edition, the new Dior x Bogarde bike has a classic ’80s BMX look, albeit with a gold metal finish, supple calfskin details and Dior’s signature bee engraving on the handlebar.
The cost of taking this gilt trip is $4,700, and the bike is limited to 100 units. But a third and final release is promised in the collaboration. Platinum, anyone?
