Dion Kelly-Evans has signed a new contract at Notts County and has become the fourth player to commit his future at Meadow Lane.
The full-back follows Michael Doyle, Alex Lacey and Richard Brindley in signing fresh terms.
The former Coventry defender says he had no hesitation in putting pen to paper at Notts after impressing under boss Neal Ardley last season.
He said: "I’m very happy to have been offered a new contract.
“I’ve been here a year now and I’m enjoying my football.
“The gaffer gives me good opportunities to play and when you’re in a talented team and you’re winning games, it’s good to be part of.
"It was disappointing the way we lost the final, but hopefully we can go one better next season and hopefully win the league.
“It’s been nice to be back in and seeing familiar faces. Everyone’s happy, the pitch is beautiful – everything about the Lane is great.
“I’ve been working hard over the last couple of weeks and I’m really looking forward to seeing all the lads for the start of pre-season on Monday.”
Boss Ardley is also delighted to have Kelly-Evans in his squad for the new campaign.
“Dion came in last season and did really well for us in the games he played,” said the boss.
"He was well above average in most.
“He provides good competition for places.
"There’s no way we’re going to be able to have a set starting XI when we’re going to have Saturday-Tuesday matches right from the word go.
“It’s going to be a tough schedule and we’re going to need everyone to play their part.”
