Dion Dublin tells Arsenal fans they're 'wrong' amid 'best team in the league' claim

Dion Dublin has told Arsenal fans that they aren't the best team in the Premier League.

The Gunners are the only team with a 100 per cent record in the division, having won all five of their opening matches. However, former Aston Villa striker Dublin believes Manchester City are the best side in the league, even though they dropped points on matchday three in a draw at Newcastle United.

"You (Aston Villa) are playing the best team in the league at the moment," said Dublin on Saturday Night Football.

"I think Arsenal fans would disagree with that," replied host of the show Kelly Cates.

"They would, but they're wrong," said Dublin. "I believe that if you can get on the ball and be brave, you've got every chance of keeping the score line down because City are unbelievable at the moment."

Arsenal have won all five of their matches so far, scoring 13 goals and conceding just four. A lot has been made of the Gunners having favourable fixtures to begin the season, and Sunday's clash against Manchester United will be their first major test of the season against a 'big six' rival.

City have started the season in fantastic form and remain the title favourites, but they have shown vulnerabilities in the draw at Newcastle and in the 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend.

The first meeting between Arsenal and Man City is on October 19, when the Gunners welcome Pep Guardiola's side to the Emirates Stadium.
