Liverpool are waiting to learn about the severity of an injury to Diogo Jota.
The ECHO understands the Portugal international has picked up a knee injury and the club are standing by until the problem settles down where they will then be properly able to assess the problem.
Jota, who picked up a knock during his 87 minutes against FC Midtjylland in midweek, will miss the Reds' trip to Fulham on Sunday while Liverpool carry out tests.
Losing the in-form Jota will be a huge blow to Jurgen Klopp, given the impact the attacker has made with the Premier League champions since arriving at Anfield this season.
And the manager confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that Jota was suffering.
"We had a game two days ago and after the game we had some niggles," Klopp said.
"Diogo, we have to see if it will be more, the diagnosis is not finally done."

Jota's injury is just the latest in a long line of issues for Liverpool this term.
The likes of Kostas Tsimikas - who also picked up a knock in the game against FC Midtjylland - Thiago Alcantara, James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri still injured while Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk continue to go through the rehabilitation process.
However, on a more positive note Alisson and midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have returned to full training with the goalkeeper in line to start at Craven Cottage.
