Diogo Jota dragged Liverpool to October victories and deserves Player of the Month award

Liverpool might have spent much of the month continuing to reel from that 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa, but results have not nose-dived as Jurgen Klopp's side continued to feel their way into their best form.

Much of that must go down to the contributions of new boy Diogo Jota, whose goal scoring exploits have dragged the Reds to a handful of victories across October.

The Portugal international already looks at home in a red shirt, bagging against Sheffield United, FC MIdtjylland and West Ham United.

We therefore believe he deserves to take home our award for Liverpool Player of the Month in October.

However, if you think another player performed better for the Reds last month - this is your chance to let us know !

The 23-year-old's output has already been significant, winning the games against the Blades and the Hammers while breaking the deadlock in the Champions League, also.

The left of Liverpool's front three - a spot usually reserved for Sadio Mane - is arguably the most difficult role to make your own in the Reds team at present, but Jota has spent the early part of his Anfield tenure already proving he can add much to the frontline.
