Diogo Dalot sends Manchester United fans a message about next season

Diogo Dalot has told Manchester United supporters that the team must improve after reflecting on a mixed debut season for the club.

The 20-year-old played 22 times for United in all competitions in the 2018/19 campaign, contributing two assists but rarely playing in his favoured right-back position.

After signing for £19million from Porto last summer, it represents and up and down return for the promising Portuguese Under-21 international, who took to social media to send a message to supporters.

He said: "My first season here, although it has not been the season that this club deserves I’m thankful for the way that you have taken me in at Manchester United.

"We must give you more in the future and better than this season has shown."
