Diogo Dalot reveals Celtic anxiety as AC Milan star shares his concerns over facing Neil Lennon's strugglers

Diogo Dalot insists AC Milan are taking nothing for granted against a Celtic team who will be out to prove a point on Thursday.

Neil Lennon 's side are a wounded animal at present after defeats to Sparta Prague and Ross County kicked their crisis up a gear.

There were protests over Lennon's position outside Parkhead after their Betfred Cup nightmare but the Northern Irishman is expected to remain in charge - for Thursday evening at least.

The Hoops are at one of their lowest ebbs in recent times having already relinquished a Europa League knockout place with two games to spare.

But Dalot, who has started each of Milan's European matches since joining on loan from Manchester United, reckons that could make them an even more dangerous opponent.

He said: “We know Celtic have a good history in European competitions, it’s a club that has often played in the Champions League and Europa League.

“So we know it’s a tough match against a very good team.

“They will come with motivation because they want to overcome this bad period.

“They’ll want to come with everything, they’re motivated and we have to be prepared for that.”
