Diogo Dalot has said he is on the road to recovery after sustaining an injury during Manchester United's defeat by Newcastle prior to the international break.
The Portuguese youngster was substituted during the second half of the 1-0 loss at St. James' Park and was not included in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad for Sunday's 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
"During the Newcastle game, as you all know I picked up an injury," Dalot tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.
"I am now recovering, and already looking forward to joining back up with the team as soon as possible to help the boys get back to where we belong!"
Dalot has struggled with injuries this season, featuring for just 60 minutes in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old spent time in China in September to undergo rehabilitation on a hip problem but it is not clear what the nature of his current injury is.
Dalot has played 26 times for United since joining United from Porto in 2018.
