Dinner Date looking for singles to cook up a storm in new series of ITV show

It's often said that the way to a person's heart is through their stomach and if you think you could send hearts aflutter with your culinary skills and are looking for love, you're in luck as Dinner Date is on the look out for more contestants.

Just like its Channel 4 counterpart Come Dine With Me, Dinner Date has been on TV for years now and is addictive viewing as a hopeful and hungry singleton takes their pick from five different menus, choosing three of them.

The three people responsible for the menus then welcome 'the picker' into their homes and aim to win their heart with a three course meal.

Plenty of North East singles have already appeared on the show, and a few celebs including Vicky Pattison and her ex Ricci Guarnaccio, and now the ITVBe series is searching for more Geordies as filming commences on a new run of episodes.

An online rallying call for Dinner Date contestants reads: "THE HIT ITVBE DATING SHOW IS BACK!

"TIRED OF TINDER? BORED OF BUMBLE? HATING ON HINGE?!

"We are looking for single people all over the UK to take part in our brand new series!"

If you're ready to find love and are confident you can cook up a storm in the kitchen fill out an application form HERE and send it to dinnerdate@hattrick.com.

Don't delay as the closing date for applications is Friday, March 13. Contestants need to be 18 and over.
