
2019 is around the corner and those wishing to have their last memorable meal of the year will have one more choice for their dinner plan when Blue Elephant will present a colourful, mouth-watering set menu at its Bangkok and Phuket restaurants on Dec 31.
Crafted by chef Nooror Somany Steppe and her team, the New Year's Eve set menu is inspired by the rich heritage of gastronomic art ranging from the vibrant streets of Bangkok to royal Thai cuisine. It will offer revellers the taste and experience of the finest, selected culinary gems sought from the South and all corners of Bangkok in one sitting and within one night. One of the favourite appetisers on the menu is chor muang or flower-shaped streamed dumpling from the royal Thai recipes. Other dishes include such delicacies as Disco Scallops from Patong Beach and Baba Yaya Andaman Lobster inspired by the Phuketian Peranakan Heritage and spicy Hot Pot Tom Yum Roasted Duck inspired by Yaowarat China Town.
Also expect to enjoy Drunken Snow Fish and the fiery Phad Phong Alaska Crab Curry before the dinner will be culminated with the choice of Belgian Chocolate Mousse and Jasmine Taro Cake among other desserts.
