Dimitar Berbatov makes Premier League top four prediction - and it's bad news for Man Utd

Dimitar Berbatov has predicted who will finish in the Premier League top four this season - and it's bad news for his former club Manchester United.

Manchester City won a second Premier League title in as many years under Pep Guardiola last season.

But the Citizens didn't run away with the division in the same way they did in the previous season, which they won by a staggering 19 points.

Liverpool were right on City's heels throughout the campaign, but Guardiola's men did enough to come out on top on the final day.

Chelsea and Tottenham meanwhile completed the top four with just a single point separating the London rivals.

Berbatov reckons the season will pan out in almost identical fashion as last year with both Arsenal and Man United again missing out on a place in the Champions League.

"Unfortunately I need to say it but I think Manchester City will be champions again, then Liverpool. They are the top two," Berbatov told Mirror Football.

"Then I think Spurs and then Chelsea. I say Chelsea because I saw them play under Frank Lampard and I like his philosophy a lot.

"And then of course you have the usual suspects, Arsenal and Man United.

"Hopefully we see someone from the rest of the pack - the other teams who are coming up. For example Wolves, I enjoyed watching them last season.

"Hopefully there is no fatigue as they are playing in Europe."
