Dimitar Berbatov delivers perfect response when asked if he prefers Tottenham or Man United

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Dimitar Berbatov has been enjoying himself during an Instagram Story Q&A session with plenty of insight into his former clubs.

The 39-year-old Bulgarian, who also played for Manchester United, Fulham. Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco, took on plenty of questions from his followers and appeared to have plenty of fun with his answers.

In the many questions asked on Saturday afternoon, Berbatov first had to choose his favourite goal from his career.

"There are too many to pick just one, but maybe top three. The one against Roma with Leverkusen, the one against Liverpool with United and probably the one against Charlton with Tottenham," he said.

On whether he is planning to become a coach in the future, he admitted.: "I have got my A licence now in coaching and hopefully later this year I take the pro licence. Down the road who knows but why not?"

Then came a question about who he supports.

"I support all the teams I used to play for. I watch them all the time but I do like to watch other teams, teams who like to play football the way it should be played," he explained.

On footballers he wished he had played with, he added: "There is not only one. Many players I wish I had played with. Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, the other Ronaldo - El Fenomeno, Zidane of course. All great players."

The Bulgarian was also asked if he had any regrets from his career.

"Of course. Not winning something with Leverkusen. We had three finals and lost them all. Not winning the Champions League with United. Probably many more," he admitted.

Then came the killer question over whether he prefer Spurs or United.

Berbatov quickly replied: "How many times I need to answer this question? It's like asking me which of my kids I love the most. I love both teams to death and also I love and respect every team I used to play for. Simple."

On his toughest opponent, he said quickly: "Just one name. Vidic. My Serbian brother. He was an unbelievable defender. When I played against him, a nightmare. When I trained with him, a nightmare again, because he was going to kick you all the time."

Even a random question about whether he had ever played as a right-back drew a little bit of insight.

"What? Hell no!" he said. "However, I did sometimes when I used to play in training sessions I would play back in the defence so that I could get a better idea about how the defenders were thinking."
