Dillon Danis records impressive first round win over Max Humphrey at Bellator 222

Dillon Danis defeated Max Humphrey in impressive fashion in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The New York native and Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt got Humphrey to the mat early in the first round and unloaded numerous shots to his head before attempting to lock in a number of chokes.

In the end, he locked in an arm bar and Humphrey had no choice but to tap.

John Kavanagh was in Danis' corner for the bout as he made two wins from two Bellator bouts.

It was his Danis' MMA bout since being involved in a post-fight brawl that marred Conor McGregor's UFC bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov last October.  The Notorious was not at Madison Square Garden for Bellator 222.

Speaking after the fight, Danis said: "I said this before, I'm the f***ing best in the world. I said that already and I'll say it again.

"See who gets in here and stops me. Rory [MacDonald], Jon Jones... any of those bitches come and get it."

Kavanagh later tweeted: "Seek improvement not perfection."
