Dillian Whyte's trainer makes 'confident' Tyson Fury prediction ahead of potential fight

Dillian Whyte's trainer has explained why he is 'extremely confident' in the Body Snatcher's chances of defeating Tyson Fury.

Xavier Miller, Whyte's trainer, has spoken on record stating that his fighter has the capabilities to do so.

The Body Snatcher is currently the WBC ‘interim’ champion after pulling out of a fight against Otto Wallin last month due to injury.

The WBC are expected to order the fight between the two boxers at some point within the next few weeks - allowing Whyte to forego a rematch with Wallin.

Eddie Hearn is confident the WBC will order the fight later this month, though Wallin's camp are pushing for the governing body to instead order a rematch of the cancelled bout.

While boxing fans wait to see what emerges over the course of the coming weeks, Miller's trainer has given his thoughts ahead of the Fury fight.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Miller explained: "Dillian can jab with anybody.

"A lot of the guys Tyson Fury has boxed don’t have a jab as good as Dillian Whyte. Like I said, I don’t want to discredit any fighter because I love boxing and I don’t like to do that.

"I just know what I’ve got; Dillian can beat any of these guys, any of them. He’s got a very strong team around and remember, Dillian is very hungry. He hasn’t had what the others have had yet. Whyte is eager to get back into the ring before too long

"He hasn’t had a chance to fight for a world title or win a world title. He’s a very hungry fighter and very dangerous fighter. Of course, I am extremely confident."

Whyte was last in action back in March when he defeated Alexander Povetkin in Gibraltar. His two defeats in his career came in his first bout with Povetkin and against Anthony Joshua in 2015.
