Best Shovels in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot
Of course, your main equipment in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot will be Shovels. Usually, the more expensive Shovels will have better some or all stats, so make sure you check which one you are using, and if you need more Strength, Speed, Luck or even special effects like Shiny, Shocked and others.

As far as the best Shovels go, the Crystalized Shovel which is locked behind Robux (if you are willing to pay) is your best bet since it has the best Strength and Luck Stat. The Speed is lower than some of the less expensive Shovels, but that can be ignored especially due to the +10% chance increase on Shiny enhance.
Out of the free to play versions, focus on the Spike Shovel at first (a well balanced shovel with better speed for fast grinding). When you're done, you can see if the Topaz Shovel attracts you with it's extra Clean Chance, or if you want to go straight for the Dragon Shovel with better luck, but slower speed. It's also more than double the price of the Topaz Shovel, so take that into consideration.
How to get Better Brainrots in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot
With a total of 44 Brainrots, keeping track of rarer equips can be quite a hassle. The process to obtain rarer Brainrots is mostly RNG, but there are a few ways to boost your chances at obtaining them:
- Each zone has a set percentage Luck modifier. The farther you are from your Plot, the greater your chance is of obtaining a rarer Brainrot. However, the greater the chance is of you being attacked by others that want to steal your brainrots. Be ready to pummel them with your Bat.
- Shovels with a higher Luck stat and more Strength can pull up better Brainrots with more money revenue. Additionally, Brainrots with specific mutations will also generate more money, so Shovels with Mutation boosts are worth the purchase. You can check out the full list of Shovel stats above.
- If you're willing to spend Money, you can purchase various Luck boosts for Robux on the Dirt grounds, or even boost Server Luck
How to Rebirth in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot
You can make use of the Rebirth function in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot to obtain a variety of in-game boosts that stack permanently, from additional Brainrot Slots, to Speed Boosters, and most importantly Money multipliers. To complete a Rebirth, click on the Rebirth button in the left section of your screen.
For each Rebirth, you will have to complete a few requirements first. These include earning a specific amount of money and owning select Brainrots. These change with each Rebirth, and won't count if you've had them pre-Rebirth. If you purchase an Item like a Shovel or a Bat, then you will also lose that amount of money from the process.
Rebirthing resets your Shovels and Brainrots (you essentially lose everything), but with each Rebirth boost, you'll be able to earn them back faster, which is why it's a good idea to do it. This feature also unlocks various Canons, Machine modifiers, and more across the map, so even more benefits from doing it.
How to Stop Players from Stealing My Brainrots
Dig and Hatch a Brainrot lets you steal Brainrots from other players in the game, so long as they are in the Dirt zones. This also applies to you as well, and you’ll want to better prepare yourself for such circumstances.
If you spot a player trying to attack you, the best option is to run. You won’t be able to attack back while having a Brainrot equipped, so it is in your best interests to flee. However, you are slower while carrying an Egg, so they will catch up quickly. Try bunny hopping using the Jump key to move faster. You also have shield protection for a few seconds, but that's not enough if you are all the way at the end of the Dirt lots. You can use the Return Safely feature, but this does cost Robux.
You can also attack other players using the Bats to stand a chance at improving your earnings. That being said, here is a list of all known Bats in the game:

Obviously, the more expensive Bats are better at attacking nearby players. Ideally, you’ll want to get the Metal Bat as soon as you can, given how unimpressive the basic Wood Bat is.

Should I Rebirth?
Yes, progressive Rebirths will unlock more stat boosts and Brainrot slots, making it well worth it. Do note that you will lose everything on hand if you do this, so make sure to time it right and/or sell items if required beforehand.
Which stats should I buy?
The Daily Shop holds a total of 3 different stat boosts per day, before being restocked. You can choose between Hatch Speed, Luck and Speed multipliers with each costing a hefty sum of money.
All things considered, it might be worth just investing into Luck for now. The Luck stat boost costs $5.2 million Money and lasts for 15 minutes total.
