After arriving at Everton in 2002, arguably at one of the club's darkest hours, David Moyes spent 11 years transforming the club from battling relegation to a top six Premier League side.
The Scotsman departed Goodison in 2013 and moved to Manchester United, hand-picked by the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson to succeed him at Old Trafford.
By that point Moyes had managed more than 500 games on Merseyside , taking Everton to an FA Cup final while also embarking on several memorable European adventures.
