Nottingham Forest have have been reminiscing about one the greatest players to wear the Red shirt.
Many a great player have graced the City Ground turf, but one who Reds fans remember fondly is John Robertson.
The Scotland international made over 500 appearances in Garibaldi and spent 14 seasons on Trentside.
His most influential moment came in Munich when he provided the cross for Trevor Francis to score the goal that secured the Reds their first European Cup victory.
Robertson would prove just as pivotal the following season as the Reds repeated their European glory in Madrid.
Robertson was once described as "a little fat guy" by Brian Clough, and was voted the club’s greatest ever player by supporters.
Forest posted a video of Robertson scoring a spectacular long-range strike, and Reds fans replied to the tweet with their praise for the club legend.
Here is a selection of what they had to say.
North Wales Forest: “The best player I have ever seen at Forest by a million miles.”
Mark F: “The best "two footed" player ever. Left foot, right foot, it didn't matter.”
James Hubbard: “Magnificent player.”
Andy Swannell: “Couldn’t get enough of watching Robbo. For me he was the most exciting player on the field any day against any team. RESPECT!”
Spencer Clay: “Different gravy.”
Stephanie Braisby: “Best player to don a red shirt. Robbo the legend.”
Reg Williams: “A fantastic player with the ball at his feet I loved watching John going down the left wing.”
