'Different gravy!' - Manchester United fans go crazy after Mason Greenwood scores vs Young Boys

Manchester United made the perfect start to this evening's UEFA Champions League clash against Swiss outfit Young Boys at Old Trafford, hitting the front inside just nine minutes through Mason Greenwood.

Sporting a very different look to the United side that got the better of Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, the Reds, who had 11 changes made to their starting line-up by interim manager Ralf Rangnick, wasted no time in getting their noses in front in sensational fashion.

Following some smart and technical play down the left flank, the returning Luke Shaw sent over a cross to pick out Greenwood, who was also reinstalled to the starting line-up, and he fired a sensational left-footed overhead-kick past Young Boys goalkeeper Guillaume Faivre.

The ball was slightly behind Greenwood when it came over, meaning the finish was all the more impressive, and one for the United academy graduate to remember.

Greenwood wheeled away to celebrate before being joined by his team-mates.

In the meantime, United's supporters watching at home on TV flooded social media with praise and admiration for the striker's excellent hooked finish.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look to see what some United supporters have had to say.

As you can see in the messages displayed above, United's supporters are delighted for Greenwood and are in awe of his superb goal.

It was his first goal since scoring in the 4-2 defeat to Leicester City in October and his first in the Champions League since October last year.
