Diet-friendly 'fake Haribo' sweet recipe for around 70 calories

Many of us are trying to eat better as summer is quickly approaching.

It's hard to stick to a diet without eating the foods you enjoy, but there are lower calorie options of the snacks you love.

PT in training Lauren Watson, @laurennicholefitness.x on TikTok has shared how she makes the following easy recipe.

These "fake Haribo" sweets are around 70 calories for the whole tub and can be ready in an hour.

It's perfect for those who are calorie counting but have a sweet tooth - and you can even make your favourite flavour.

They are the perfect guilt-free snack to have in front of the TV.

You will need:

  • 1 sachet sugar free jelly powder
  • 250ml hot water
  • 1 sachet gelatine powder/ 3 leaves of leaf gelantine
  • 100g of 0% fat yogurt

Lauren said: "You want to pour one full sachet of the jelly into a jug with 250ml of water, a full packet of powder gelatine or three leaves of the leaf gelatine.

"Then you want to pour two thirds of the mixture into a tub. Then you are going to put the mixture that's in the tub into the freezer for about 30 minutes to fully set.

"Then you want to add your yogurt to the rest of the mix. I added 100g. Set the mix aside until the jelly is fully set, then you want to pop that into the freezer for another 30 minutes.

"Slice it into little sweet-like pieces. These are so good - the whole tub is 70 calories.

"The raspberry one is my favourite."
