Diego Laxalt's agent deals Celtic a transfer blow as he reveals star's Premier League wish

Celtic loanee Diego Laxalt wants to play in England next season, his agent has claimed.

The AC Milan full-back has been a hit at Parkhead after sealing a transfer deadline day move to Parkhead.

His loan arrangement runs until the end of the season but boss Neil Lennon has expressed hope the deal could become permament.

However, Laxalt's representative Ariel Krasouski - a former Boca Juniors star - has revealed the Uruguay international has an eye on the Premier League.

He said: "Diego is playing a lot of games for Celtic and he is very happy there. They treat him very well in Glasgow.

"In the summer he will return to Milan after his loan contract at Celtic ends.

"I think Milan will try and sell him at that point before his contract expires in a year's time.

"Diego's wish is to play next season in England. We'll have to wait and see what happens."
