Diego Laxalt Celtic transfer fee named as left-back available on 'cut price' deal

Milan have placed a £7.2million price tag on Diego Laxalt as Celtic consider making his loan move permanent, according to a report.

The Uruguayan joined the Parkhead side on a season-long loan, but there is no option to buy the full-back at the end of the deal.

The left-back has become a regular in Neil Lennon's side this season but it remains to be seen if Celtic will try to make the move permanent in the summer.

If the Hoops are interested, Il Milanista claim that the Serie A side will look for around €8million (£7.2m) to sell the defender.

Laxalt signed with Milan for £18million and his contract at the San Siro runs out in the summer of 2022.

But with the Italians needing to raise funds in order to comply with Financial Fair Play this year, the full-back will be reportedly available for a cut-price fee.

Laxalt came firing out the blocks to start his Celtic career as he impressed fans early on with a string of good performances.
