Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan has issued a message to Edinson Cavani and Facundo Pellestri following their transfer deadline day moves to Old Trafford.
The pair sealed a move to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side on a busy final day of the international window, where Alex Telles was also signed from Porto and an agreement with Atalanta was reached for the transfer of Amad Traore in January.
Cavani arrives on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and will provide an immediate boost to the attack.
Pellestri, meanwhile, is seen as one for the future but could earn a rise into the first-team picture over the course of the coming months depending on his development.
Forlan has now issued a message of support to his two compatriots, welcoming them to the club and stating that he misses the United supporters.
"Hi United fans, hope you're doing well. I'm missing you a lot. I just want to welcome Facundo Pellestri and Edinson Cavani, two great guys and two professional players," he said.
"Wishing both of them the best and I hope to see you soon. Take care guys."
