Diego Costa set for Manchester United meeting as Barcelona seek Memphis Depay exit

Memphis Depay is reportedly on AC Milan, Juventus and Tottenham's shortlists for a move away from Barcelona this summer.

Reports in Spain suggest the Dutch international striker, who only moved to the Nou Camp 12 months ago, is no longer required by coach Xavi.

After the Catalan giants landed Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski in their trolley dash, Depay has quickly slipped down the pecking order at Barca.

Milan were first to register an interest, while Juventus and Spurs are monitoring the situation.

PSG closing on Mukiele

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele after agreeing a £14.5million deal and personal terms, according to numerous reports.

The Ligue 1 champions were always favourites to sign Mukiele until Chelsea made a late bid to hijack the move. But PSG have won the race and the 24-year-old French defender is expected to sign a long-term contract after his medical in Paris in the next 24 hours.

Chelsea's interest was always regarded by Leipzig as a fall-back option in case the Blues' long-time pursuit of Sevilla's Jules Kounde fell by the wayside.

Vanheusden heads to Alkmaar

AZ Alkmaar have wrapped up a season-long loan of Inter Milan defender Zinho Vanheusden with an option to make the transfer permanent.

Vanheusden was signed as a teenager by Inter but he returned to Standard Liege, where he made 76 appearances before the Italian side brought him back to the San Siro in 2021.

Last season, the Belgian international joined Genoa on loan but injuries restricted him to only 14 appearances.

Diego Costa could line up against Manchester United on Sunday after the former Chelsea striker was sounded out by Rayo Vallecano.

Costa, 33, has been a free agent since terminating his contract with Atletico Mineiro, where he won a domestic double in Brazil, six months ago.

Now, according to Mundo Deportivo , the 33-year-old warrior could be returning to his old club in time to face United in their final pre-season game, which will be new boss Erik ten Tag's first home game in charge at Old Trafford.
