
The Swiss tourist authority will try get everyone excited for the Alpine country during the "In Love With Switzerland" fair, which kicks off today and runs until Sunday at the Fashion Gallery, 1st floor of Siam Paragon, Rama I.
This is the first time the famous Switzerball art installation that has visited many countries around the world will be brought to the Kingdom, allowing Thais to discover the Swiss Confederation in a fun and surprising way.
Measuring 6m in length and 2.5m in height, the sculpture was created by Charles Morgan, an Anglo-Swiss artist who integrates art with electrical machinery. Through the movement of a metallic ball, viewers are guided to explore the country's major tourist destinations in under five minutes.
The journey consists of leaving the hotel in the morning, getting on a train that climbs up the mountain, taking a cable car, strolling along the cliff, taking a yellow PostBus, enjoying creamy fondue and taking a boat to renowned Chillon Castle. There is also an exhibition that will showcase the country's cultural heritage, as well as feature an "Annabelle cow stacking challenge". The winning prize is an exclusive trip for two to Wengen, a mountain village in central Switzerland.
