A Didsbury deli is launching sharing platters loaded with aphrodisiac foods ahead of Valentine's Day.
The cheeky deli boards have been created by Burton Road cafe A Taste of Honey, geared towards lockdown celebrations.
There are three to choose from, including one for a breakfast in bed.
The business, which is part of the EatWellMCR collective providing meals to people in need, hopes the boards will create a special experience for the lockdown version of the most romantic day of the year.
The food on the boards has been chosen for its aphrodisiac qualities and sourced locally.
The Lockdown Lovers savoury board is loaded with a goats cheese, walnut and fig salad with honey dressing; pan-fried asparagus; KFC cauliflower; caramelised shallots; charred baby courgettes; salt-baked parsnips and a pan fried salmon fillet with a saffron hollandaise.
A vegan version of the £30 savoury board can be put together on request.
There's also a sweet counterpart, priced at £25, which comes with truffle brownies, cherry pie with homemade meringue topping, salted caramel and mars bar bread and butter pudding, Little Moons cookie dough mochi and homemade doughnuts with raspberry coulis and chocolate.
The 'dirty stop out' breakfast platter includes a full English breakfast for two to share.
Each sharing board, made to order on site, can be ordered for collection from A Taste of Honey and is priced between £25 and £30.
