Didi Hamann says Jordan Flores’ goal for Dundalk against Shamrock Rovers is the best he's ever seen.
Flores scored an absolute screamer for the Lilywhites in their 3-2 defeat to the Hoops on Friday night.
Flores powered home a thunderous volley from a corner after Dylan Watts had given Rovers the lead.
Vinny Perth's side went ahead on the 63rd minute through Pat Hoban, but late goals from Roberto Lopes and Jack Byrne ensured Rovers took all three points from the game.
FIFA tweeted saying the goal could be a candidate for the Puksas Award and Hamann has also hailed it.
The Liverpool legend and TV pundit posted on Twitter: "Goal of the century, best I’ve ever seen."
The result from Friday night's game leaves the Hoops three points clear at the top of the SSE Airtricity League table.
