Sidharth Malhotra is currently on cloud nine as he recently tied the knot with the love of his life, Kiara Advani in Rajasthan. The actor undoubtedly had the best time of his life on his big day with his close friends and family.
However, did you know that the actor's father fell sick during the sangeet ceremony? Yes, you read that right! Sidharth and Kiara held their Sangeet till the wee hours of the night a day before the wedding. But amidst the excitement, Sidharth's father is known to have fallen sick and taken to his room for treatment, a report in Zoom Digital stated.
The source told the news portal that during the Sangeet ceremony, Sidharth's father fell ill and even started vomiting. The women of the house apparently went in shock and were crying, while simultaneously the doctor was called immediately.
Sidharth's father was then taken to a room, and while the festivities did not stop completely, the music from the sangeet ceremony was toned down. Fortunately, it looks like the situation was nothing serious as two hours later Sidharth's father was back to enjoying the festivities with the rest of his family.
Kiara's brother Mishaal dedicated a medley to her lovely sister at the sangeet ceremony and even Sidharth is said to have joined him on stage. Reportedly, Hari and Sukhmani bands were also called in for a musical night on Monday. Not only this, Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor were also seen performing on 'Kala Chashma' on the musical night.
Kiara and Sidharth returned to Delhi last night and will come to Mumbai on February 10. The couple will host a grand reception for their friends and Bollywood counterparts in Mumbai on February 12.

A source said, "St Regis is a popular destination for many Bollywood celebs because it offers good security and any important event held there can be managed well with little to no concerns over privacy. That's one of the main reasons why Sid-Kiara will be hosting their Mumbai reception at the five-star hotel."
