Did you know Aamir Khan was once thrown out of Sourav Ganguly's home in Kolkata by his guards?

Aamir Khan is one of the superstars we have in Bollywood. Rightly known as Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood, the actor commands a huge fan following across the nation. However, did you know that once Aamir was thrown out of Sourav Ganguly’s Kolkata home by his guards?

Yes, you read that right! In 2009, Aamir was promoting his film, ‘3 Idiots’ in Kolkata and decided to visit the cricketer’s house. However, the catch here was that he had disguised himself as one of Ganguly’s fans. The superstar, dressed as the cricketer’s fan, tried to enter his home in a bid to get a picture clicked with him. Despite putting in a lot of effort, he was denied entry by the guards at the gate.

Later, when Sourav got to know of Aamir visiting him, he invited the actor along with his wife Kiran Rao to his house for dinner. Two videos, one of Aamir trying to enter Ganguly’s house as a fan and then later having dinner at his house with his wife had gone viral on the internet.

Aamir and Kiran were recently in the news when they ended their 15 years marriage and announced divorce. The couple also announced that they will be co-parenting son Azad Rao Khan even after divorce.

A part of their official statement read, ‘In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy, and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect, and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives - no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other.’

On the work front, Aamir is currently shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ where he will be seen reuniting with his ‘3 idiots’ and ‘Talaash’ co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. The movie is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’. The film originally starred Tom Hanks in the lead role.
