Did you know Aamir Khan wanted to play THIS character in Imran Khan’s 'Delhi Belly'?

Aamir Khan’s productional venture, ‘Delhi Belly’ completed ten glorious years today. The film featured Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Vir Das in lead roles. However, did you know that Aamir wanted to play one of the characters played by these actors?

Yes, you read that right! Talking to Zoom Digital recently, director Abhinay Deo revealed that Aamir wanted to play Nitin's character, played by Kunaal Roy Kapur. He also went on to add that all the fart sounds that are there in the film, they are made by mouth by him during the dubbing of the film.

The filmmaker also opened up about how he convinced Aami to be part of the song, ‘I Hate You Like I Love You’. Spilling some beans on the same, he added that Aamir always wanted to be a part of this film. But they eventually worked out this character ‘Disco Fighter’ in this film. So when they had this great song, they ended up making it terms of, with Aamir. They eventually convinced him to be part of that song.

The film also featured Poorna Jagannathan, Vijay Raaz and Shenaz Treasurywala in key roles.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Abhinay also spoke about his lead actor Imran Khan’s aspirations to direct a film. He said, “Imran is a trained director. I personally feel that a person's talent doesn't need only one channel to come out of. If as a director he feels that he will be able to do justice to his craft, then so be it. Any form that his talent comes out, we should be welcoming.”
