Did The Rock pay $31.8 million for a real T. rex skull that he showed during the ManningCast?

Dwayne Johnson — known to the world as The Rock, of course — has made a lot of money over his WWE and acting career.

But would he take some of that cash and … spend it on the real skull of a Tyrannosaurus Rex?

During Monday night’s ManningCast broadcast of the Los Angeles Rams’ takedown of the Arizona Cardinals, Johnson appeared as a guest. And when he was asked about the giant skull in the background of his shot, he informed them that it was named “Stan.”

That leads us down a bit of a rabbit hole: Is that thing a real T. rex skull? And if so … did he pay a ton for it?
