Did Stable Ronaldo betray his audience with a PackDraw gambling sponsorship? Streaming controversy explained

Twitch streamer Rani “Stable Ronaldo” is facing strong criticism online after accepting a sponsorship deal with a platform called PackDraw. The announcement came on March 6, 2026, when PackDraw shared a post on X, confirming that the popular streamer had partnered with them. Soon after the news spread, many fans began questioning the decision. The reaction grew stronger because a large part of Stable Ronaldo’s audience is young. Some viewers felt promoting a platform linked to chance-based rewards could influence younger fans.

PackDraw describes itself as a “revolutionized online shopping” site that uses a gamified system, where users buy digital packs that can contain expensive items or very small rewards. The discussion became even louder after an older clip of Ronaldo resurfaced on X. In that video, he appeared to criticize another creator for taking gambling sponsorships. Because of that moment, many fans felt confused about his current partnership and began calling him out online.

Stable Ronaldo faces criticism after PackDraw deal as fans recall his earlier comments about gambling promotions

The backlash started quickly after PackDraw publicly confirmed the partnership. On its official X account, the company shared that Stable Ronaldo had joined them as a promotional partner. PackDraw’s platform works in a way that feels similar to loot boxes in games. Users buy digital packs at different prices and open them hoping to receive valuable items. Prices range from $0.11 to over $22,000, according to details listed on the site.

One popular pack, called “1% Watch – $2.94,” offers a very small chance to win expensive watches. The pack shows a 0.0002% chance of receiving a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Steel Silver Dial 41mm and a 0.0030% chance of winning a G-Shock Full Metal Watch Gold. Most users instead receive a $0.01 PackDraw voucher. After the announcement, several fans reacted strongly on X. One user, @sacredVlow, wrote: “NOWAY YOU FELL OFF THIS BAD…”

Another user, @Brandino76, shared disappointment and said: “Damn I actually believed that Ron cared about the kids in his audience and thats why he didnt promote gambling. Oh well its a dog eat dog world.” A third user, @lacyfatasl, commented: “money mist be running low for ron.”

At the same time, a short clip from a recent Just Chatting Twitch stream began spreading on X. In that video, Stable Ronaldo appeared to criticize someone for accepting questionable deals. He said in the clip: “Don’t switch up and take up these weird deals for money, bro. I promise you, having likes on Twitter is cooler than having money. It’s a fact.”

Because of that past statement, many viewers felt the new partnership looked inconsistent. Later on March 6, 2026, Stable Ronaldo posted a message in his X community page called “The Stable.” In the post, he explained that he had been dealing with personal stress and changes in his life.

He wrote: “There’s a lot that has happened privately in my life recently and I’m undergoing a lot of changes and stress from 10 different places. This past week a lot of bad things have been happening and I’m sure you guys can see it with my mood on stream. I’m sorry for letting you guys down, I’m trying my absolute best.”

The situation comes just a day after Ronaldo was also involved in an online conflict with Kick streamer Jack Doherty on March 5, 2026, which already had the streaming community talking.
