Did Kevin Durant just troll Russell Westbrook, Thunder?

A seemingly sweet picture of Kevin Durant and the San Francisco Giants mascot looks like the latest bitter chapter in the cupcake wars between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Warriors star.

Durant, while attending the Giants-Dodgers game Thursday afternoon, posed for a photo with his new pal, Lou Seal. In the photo, Durant seems to be serving up a dose of revenge to both Russell Westbrook and the Thunder by holding up a plate full of cupcakes.

The timing of Durant's photo may not have been coincidental: Westbrook and the Thunder saw their season come to an end Tuesday night, when they lost in five games to Houston.

Or maybe this was simply a case of Lou Seal, as he's been known to do, trying to stir things up?

For those who may have missed the origins of the confection controversy, here's a quick primer: Durant and his then-Thunder teammates had years ago began referring to players they deemed soft as "cupcakes." When Durant left the Thunder on July 4, Westbrook's thinly veiled response was to post a photo of cupcakes.

That evolved into Thunder fans wearing shirts with cupcakes on them when Durant returned to Oklahoma City for a game. The second time the Warriors visited Oklahoma City, Durant was injured and didn't play. That didn't stop the jabs, which included a fan dressed up as a cupcake while using a crutch.
