Did Jake Paul win against Tyron Woodley? Fight result as Youtube star takes on former UFC champion

Jake Paul extended his pro boxing record to 4-0 after he defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley by split decision in the early hours of Monday morning.

It was Paul who started the better, establishing a distance and working the jab as Woodley looked uncomfortable in his boxing debut.

Paul continued to pick off points in the opening three rounds before an explosive fourth round saw the UFC veteran rock Paul with a left hook - sending him onto the ropes as he survived the rest of the round.

Woodley continued to come back into it as the Youtube star showed signs of fatigue, but a strong sixth round meant he went into the last two rounds with a slight advantage.

And the hometown boy was able to feed off the crowd to put himself in the driving seat heading into the final round.

Paul held on in the final round despite a late Woodley surge as the judges awarded Paul a split decision victory.

Earlier on in the night, Tommy Fury called out Paul after opening the night with an emphatic win over his sparring partner Anthony Taylor.

The Englishman was comfortable throughout the four round bout, and cruised to a unanimous decision victory against the former MMA star.

And the crowd had plenty more to shout about soon after as hometown hero Montana Love defeated Ivan Baranchyk in a bruising contest, with the Russian's corner ordering the stoppage at the end of the seventh round.

Fans were treated to the first knockout of the night afterwards as Daniel Dubois rubber-stamped his US debut with a clinical demolition of Joe Cusumano as he floored the Italian three times in the first round to secure a stoppage win.

In the co-main event, Amanda Serrano put on a clinical display to retain her featherweight world titles as she dominated Yamileth Mercado and scored a comfortable unanimous decision win.
