Did Irina Shayk UNFOLLOW Lady Gaga before Oscars duet with Bradley Cooper?

Irina Shayk reportedly ‘unfollowed’ Lady Gaga on Instagram before the singer’s ‘chemistry’ with Bradley Cooper during their Oscars duet was branded the best part of this year’s Academy Awards.

The 33-year-old model, who has been in a relationship with Cooper since 2015, had already unfollowed Gaga on social media ahead of the co-stars’ Oscars performance of Shallow, the standout track from A Star Is Born, according to The Sun.

A source told the paper that reports of Shayk, who shares one-year-old daughter Lea with Cooper, being “sick” of Gaga “have some truth to them.”

“The stories about Irina being sick of Gaga have some truth to them – it’s not that she dislikes Gaga or is jealous of her, but she’s sick of the constant stories about her ‘close’ relationship to Bradley,” the insider said.

“She’s no stranger to cheating rumours [...] but it’s been a long publicity campaign and she’s ready for it to end.

“She’s actually thrilled at how successful the movie has been and really wanted to go to the Oscars.”

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Shayk for comment.

Though Shayk was photographed hugging the singer after the headline-grabbing performance, Oscars viewers joked that the Russian star might have been left feeling a little “jealous” after the display.

“No wonder why they didn’t show Irina’s face during this, I even got jealous!” one Twitter user posted.

“Haha there’s no way Irina Shayk didn’t get jealous, watching those two and their chemistry,” another wrote.

In an Instagram post commenting on the much-discussed duet, Gaga described her co-star as a “true friend.”

Posting a photo from the performance which showed the pair sat side by side at a piano, she wrote: “Nothing could be more special than sharing this moment at the Oscars with a true friend and artistic genius.”

Though Gaga did not pick up the Best Actress trophy for her A Star Is Born performance, she and her musical collaborators Mark Ronson, Antony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt received the Best Original Song award for Shallow during Sunday’s ceremony.
