Holland manager Louis van Gaal also commended Jurgen Klopp for the squad he has built at Liverpool alongside Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.

Former Manchester United chief Van Gaal was asked to name how many Norway players would start for his side and he replied: "Let me think. I go through the whole squad.

"I'm not going to say any names, but one, two, three, four....five. Yes, five players.

"I understand that you are asking to show that we are better than Norway, but I do not think that we have is so much stronger.

"We are stronger in some positions, but I always think that the team is most important. Chelsea and Liverpool are good examples of clubs that have succeeded in putting together very good teams."
