Did Daryl Morey just confirm Harden, Paul won’t be traded?

The Houston Rockets have been all over the news in recent days, and one of the most surprising reports was that general manager Daryl Morey was making the entire team available for trade.

But it was unclear if that really meant

The Houston Rockets have been all over the news as of late, and most of it has certainly caused stress to fans of the team.

Last week, it was reported that general manager Daryl Morey was putting all players and future picks on the table this offseason in an effort to retool the team.

“Sources: In calls to front offices, Houston GM Daryl Morey is showing an aggressive desire to improve roster with all players and picks available in talks. Hard to imagine James Harden scenario, but the rest under contract – perhaps even Chris Paul – could be moved in right deal,” tweeted ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.

Then on Thursday, it was revealed that extension talks between head coach Mike D’Antoni and the Rockets management had ended, which means D’Antoni will go into the final season on his contract as a lame duck coach.

But, if social media is correct, there is some news that may be of relief to some Rockets fans: James Harden and Chris Paul will not be traded.

Looks like the backcourt of the Rockets is safe right now, despite a few calls for CP3 to get the boot from Houston.

But we all know social media isn’t always what it seems, so we will have to keep tabs on what shakes out going forward.
